This is an ideal touring aircraft, with the pop out floats allowing extended trips over water without the need to carry additional life rafts (which would be hard to deploy in a genuine emergency and which would take up useful load). From experience it is possible to tour adequately with either three of four people on board, and with the under seat baggage space being used.
